Our dentists are extremely dedicated to remaining educated and on the forefront of developments in dentistry, and thanks to our group practice we can provide convenient extended hours in the evening and on the weekends.
Also, if you are to experience a dental emergency and your regular dentist isn’t available, another one of our great team members will be able to help you.
He’s licensed under the College of Dental Surgeons of British Columbia, as well as the Alberta Dental Association and College. Dr. Lai is also a member of prestigious professional organizations including the BC Dental Association, the Canadian Dental Association and the Calgary and District Dental Society.
As with the other doctors in the Beddington practice, Dr. Lai is committed to continuing his education, and he has completed more than 700 continuing education hours since he left dental school.
Born in Saskatchewan, Dr. Tunison earned the opportunity to play international water polo. He trained in Europe for two years and competed around the world, and he was then brought to Calgary with the Canadian National Team. In 2001, Dr. Tunison moved from the pool to academics, and earned his degree in Cellular, Molecular and Microbial Biology from the University of Calgary. He then went on to earn a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Alberta.
Thanks to proximity to friends and family, as well as a love for the Rocky Mountains, Dr. Tunison moved to Calgary to being practicing dentistry. Dr. Tunison loves all areas of dentistry, but in particular, working in pediatrics, cosmetic and surgical dentistry.
When he’s not helping patients gain healthy, beautiful smiles, Dr. Tunison loves the outdoors, traveling, watching movies and learning new languages. He’s studied French and Hungarian, and is now working to learn Spanish.
In 2010 Dr. Tuison went to Nicaragua to do dental volunteering, and he hopes to continue to travel to underdeveloped countries on future dental missions.
Graduating from the University of Toronto with High Distinction, Dr. Cho then completed his dental training at the University of Toronto to receive a Doctor of Dental Surgery. He was accepted into a program for a 3-year residency in Prosthodontics at The University of Connecticut Health System. During this time, he completed his Master’s degree in Dental Science, and his certificate in Prosthodontics.
After his 7 years of dental training, he moved to Toronto where he taught at the University of Toronto at the Faculty of Dentistry in the Prosthodontics department. During his time there, he was a part-time clinical instructor to dental residents and students.
He enjoys practicing general dentistry, but his expertise lies in Implant Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry, and Full Mouth Rehabilitation and Reconstruction.
Dr. Cho is a member of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, the American College of Prosthodontists, the Ontario Dental Association and the Alberta Dental Association.
As well as being an accomplished musician, Dr. Cho also loves to play squash, golf and tennis.
He looks forward to building long term relationships with his patients as part of the Beddington Dental Clinic team.
A native of Vancouver, Dr. Wong received her Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Dental Medicine degrees from the University of British Columbia. After practicing for 10 years, in 2011 Dr. Wong joined her husband in Calgary.
She is passionate about dentistry, and loves working with people. She really believes in empowering her patients through education and letting them be involved in the decisions regarding their dental treatment. She also loves working to remain up-to-date on the newest advances in dentistry, and takes extensive courses in periodontics, orthodontics and implantology.
In her free time, Dr. Wong likes to eat, travel, hike and watch movies.
Dr. Bueckert is a native of Nova Scotia and received both her BSc and DDS from Dalhousie University. She practised in Halifax, then in New Brunswick where she built a practise based largely on family/paediatric dentistry, providing sedation and hospital dentistry. Dr Bueckert then moved to Portland, Maine with her family where she associated in a group practice for 6 years. She came back to Canada in 2006 and has been in Calgary since then.
Dr. Rok Jeong received his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) at the University of Manitoba and subsequently his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S) degree at the University of Alberta. Dr. Jeong enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and especially likes Endodontics and Surgeries.
He is committed to helping patients achieve in improvement of not only their oral health but also their overall quality of life through an emphasis on prevention of disease as well as a conservative and holistic management approach. His dedication to excellence in patient care and gentle but thorough manner will help make your dental experience a positive one. Dr. Jeong is a strong believer in continuing education and in taking initiative in learning new techniques and findings in dentistry.
Outside of clinic, Dr. Jeong enjoys spending time in the kitchen cooking and barbequing. He also loves travelling to different countries and enjoying a variety of cuisines.
